Membership Information
Membership is available to Individuals, Businesses, Museums and Associations (to be purchased through CSA), and Libraries (to be purchased through our publisher). Membership, which lasts one calendar year, begins after payment is received (or, in the case of Student and Emerging Professional memberships, payment is received and eligibility is determined). A new member packet will be sent to your mailing address within one month of your processed and approved payment.

Library Memberships
Library Membership (formerly known as "Institutional") subscriptions are for organizations such as libraries and universities that would like to provide public access to Dress through their online library database or with physical copies in the stacks. This also provides eligibility for two members of your organization to receive member benefits.
Library Membership subscriptions include:
- Access to CSA members-only website
- Access to the online CSA Membership Directory
- CSA Monthly e-News
- A copy of Semiannual issues of Dress, CSA’s journal
- Online access to Dress, as well as Fashion Theory: the Journal of Dress, Body & Culture
- A copy of any regional publications
- Access to the Study of Dress and Fashion Forum (CSA CSDF Forum)
- Annual Meeting & Symposium attendance for two at the member rate
- Voting privilege (two votes)
- Discounts on CSA series publications
- Discounts for two on regional CSA-sponsored and co-sponsored meetings and events and study tours
- Eligibility for grants and awards
- Listing in the online CSA Business Directory
- 10% off CSA advertising rates

Membership rates are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses. Donations above the price of Individual Membership may be deductible as charitable contributions to the extent provided by law.
