Juanjuan Wu is an accomplished costume historian and associate professor at the University of Minnesota. With a PhD in Apparel Studies from the University of Minnesota, Wu’s research on the design aspects of retailing, mainly in fashion retailing. Her background spans a wide spectrum of fashion studies, including fashion design, marketing and communication, and retailing. Prior to her academic life, she worked as a fashion editor and journalist for a national fashion magazine in China. She also worked as a marketing director for an international sportswear company. Her published research covers visual merchandising and co-design in physical, online, and virtual reality retail environments.
