Michael E. Mamp, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Textiles, Apparel Design, and Merchandising and Director and Curator of the Textile & Costume Museum at Louisiana State University (LSU). His research explores fashion and textile history of the twentieth century and takes the form of both publications and curatorial practice. He has published his work in several different journals including
Dress. At LSU he teaches fashion history, Queer fashion, and a graduate-level fashion curation and exhibition seminar.
