Western Regional Events
The Western Region of CSA presents 4-6 events throughout each calendar year. You will see them listed below. Prior to each event a registration link will become active, should you like to join us.
We also sponsor local Meet-ups which are more spontaneous, less formal, and each attendee pays their own way. These are listed with an email address for the organizing member.

This Costume Society of America Western Region Event will begin with a visit the exhibitions at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, where we will have a special viewing of their costume collection. This will be followed by a visit to the Redding Fashion Alliance. If you want to read about one of the items in the Turtle Bay Exploration Park Museum collection see Heather (Vaughan) Lee’s article in Dress (volume 42, Number 1, 2016). On Sunday, under the direction of conservator, Elise Rousseau, we will hold an Angel’s Project to better preserve their costume collection. Bring the whole family for a weekend enjoying Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen, walking across stunning Sundial Bridge and on the trails along the Sacramento River, and the entire Turtle Bay Park. Registration will close October 20th.
