Annual Regional Symposium and Meeting September 20 and 21, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois The Midwest Region of the Costume Society of America seeks original presentations on topics of Uncommon Beauty. Potential presenters will respond with topics that emerge from seeing beauty with an open mind and an open eye. This could include inquiry into the urban, the "fringe," the utilitarian, the ethnic, the diverse, the modern, and the very individual.
